GARRISON, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A tip about illegal drug activity ends with a man from Lewis County, Ky. under arrest on drug charges.
The arrest happened after Kentucky State Police and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a home in the 600-block of Greenbrier Hollow Road on Monday.
KSP says that during a search of the home, investigators found 53 marijuana plants, several firearms and miscellaneous marijuana manufacturing items.
James Halterman, 38, of Garrison, Ky., was arrested and charged with cultivating marijuana, trafficking marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Halterman is being held in the Lewis County Detention Center.
