UPDATE 5/6/13 @ 9 p.m.
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Someone went to a ballpark in Huntington for more than peanuts and Cracker Jacks.
Hundreds of dollars worth of snacks were stolen from a Little League concession stand.
Huntington Police say the East Huntington Little League Wilson Field concession stand, at 14th Street and Columbia Avenue, was broken into over the weekend.
Investigators believe the break in happened between 9:30 p.m. Saturday and 9:35 a.m. Sunday.
According to the police report, someone broke into the concession stand by forcing open a wooden window.
The suspect(s) stole $80 in cash, along with hundreds of dollars worth of candy and soft drinks.
East Huntington Little League President Aaron Myers says the money raised at their concession stand pays for utilities, equipment, and renting their field.
"Everybody with little league is a volunteer,” Myers said. “We're giving our time and talent, and it just takes that much more to make up for this."
No arrests have been made.
