Man Arrested After Police Chase in Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police now have a driver in custody, who they say led them on a chase with a stolen vehicle.

Police say they attempted to stop Rahshed Scott on I-64 for speeding Saturday morning.

Officers say Scott did stopped but when officers got out of the cruiser he took off.

Scott eventually stopped again, got out of the car but then took off running.

Police say canine's caught up with him near the Kanawha River.

They discovered the car was stolen out of North Carolina.

Scott now faces several charges.
