KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man was arrested Tuesday after a domestic situation on Blue Creek Road potentially led to the use of firearms, according to a Kanawha County Sheriff's Department news release.

Brandon Tyler Weese, 28, of Blue Creek, was charged with wanton endangerment. He also was served with a domestic violence protection order.

Deputies say the incident unfolded after they responded to the area on a child custody dispute.

They said Weese ended up pointing a loaded rifle at a deputy.

That deputy was able to grab the gun and subdue Weese with a Taser.
