VINTON COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A man was arrested after a road rage shooting incident Saturday evening, according to a Vinton County Sheriff's Office news release.
Timothy Wilbur, 50, of Radcliff, Ohio, was charged with attempted murder, felonious assault, improper transportation of a firearm, tampering with evidence, and possession of criminal tools.
Several other charges have been forwarded to the Vinton County Prosecutor's Office for additional review.
Deputies were notified Saturday that a man allegedly shot at and ran off the road a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old person near Vales Mill Road in Radcliff.
The driver told deputies that a man chased them down the road, shooting at the vehicle while chasing them, and then running them off the road.
Deputies said Wilbur attempted to resist arrest and they had to use a Taser to subdue him.
Wilbur remained in custody Monday at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail. A bond hearing has been scheduled on Tuesday.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol assisted in the crash investigation.
