Man Arrested on Marijuana Trafficking Charge

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A Lawrence County man was arrested Friday on a marijuana trafficking charge, according to information from Kentucky State Police.
Steven A. Davis, 39, of Blaine, Ky., was arrested and taken to the Big Sandy Regional Jail. He is charged with first offense trafficking in marijuana.
Troopers received information that numerous packages containing several pounds of marijuana had been shipped from California to Davis’s home along Wheeler Branch Road in Blaine.
Troopers from the KSP Ashland Post made a controlled delivery of the intercepted marijuana to Davis’s home. Search warrants were executed at the residence, and several pounds of marijuana, firearms and drug paraphernalia items were seized at the home.
