Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash, Name Released

A man died Thursday after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a minivan.

PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Putnam County Sheriff's Deputies have released the name of the man killed in a motorcycle accident.

The accident happened about 6:15 p.m. Thursday on South Poplar Road in Putnam County.

Sheriff's Deputies say Gary Wayne Grim, 52, of Evans, lost control of his motorcycle and crossed the center line of the road and hit a minivan.

Grim was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the minivan was not hurt.

PUTNAM COUNTY, W. Va. (WSAZ) -- A man died Thursday after he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a minivan.

The accident happened about 6:15 p.m. on South Poplar Road in Putnam County.

Putnam County Sheriff's Deputies tell WSAZ.com the driver of the motorcycle lost control and slid into oncoming traffic hitting the minivan.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to CAMC in Teays Valley where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the minivan was not injured. No names were being released Thursday night.
