LEWIS COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A food drive at a fire station in Lewis County, W.Va. took an unexpected and scary turn.

Police say Gary Ferrell, of Big Springs in Calhoun County, showed up and threatened to start shooting.

Ferrell left before anything happened, but police caught up with him a short time later.

Ferrell is facing several charges, including making terroristic threats. This is the second time in the past week he has been arrested.

On New Year's Eve police say Ferrell threatened to set a truck on fire in Parkersburg.
