MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A man from Nitro, West Virginia is wanted out of several states, accused of passing bad checks.

Joseph Christopher Hajj is facing charges out of Kentucky, Georgia, West Virginia and now Ohio.

The Meigs County Sheriff's Office says Hajj is charged with felony theft by deception.

Sgt. Dan Leonard tells WSAZ.com that Hajj is accused of using a fake check to buy two guns from Alligator Jacks Flea Market for $730.

An arrest warrant was issued for him on Thursday.

Hajj is wanted out of Gallia County as well for passing bad checks.

Sheriff Joe Browning tells WSAZ.com that he is accused of using checks from a fake construction company at two businesses in the county.

Browning says that he spent $8,000 to $9,000 at Thomas Do-It Center and the Kawasaki shop.

Earlier this week the Gallia County Sheriff's Office recovered a truck from Beckley, W.Va., that deputies say Hajj also used a bad check to buy.

He was last seen in a 2013 white Ford F-150 pick-up truck, with a temporary Ohio license plate with the tag number W941709.

If you know where Hajj might be, call the Gallia or Meigs County Sheriff's Office.

This is not the first time that Hajj has been in trouble in the area. WSAZ reported back in April 2012 that he was arrested in Nitro in connection with a case involving a stolen pickup truck. At that time, he had warrants for writing worthless checks in Putnam and Kanawha County, as well as the charges in Kentucky and Georgia.
