HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- More than 1,500 students graduated from Marshall University, Saturday.
Tassels were turned at two ceremonies, honoring both undergrad and graduate degrees, at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena.
Each graduate was called by name up on stage to be personally congratulated by president Stephen J. Kopp.
Silicon Valley CEO, marshall graduate and Kenova native Brad Smith was the guest speaker.
This marked Marshall's 177th commencement ceremony.
