UPDATE: Teens Arrested and Charged with Football Stadium Break-in

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Surveillance video caught them breaking into Marshall University’s football stadium, now police say the two teens who were caught on camera have turned themselves in.

Cody Farmer, 19, and Lee Denney, 19, both of Elkview, are charged with felony nighttime burglary and misdemeanor petit larceny. Farmer is also charged with misdemeanor destruction of property.

Marshall University Police say the pair broke into the stadium about 5:30 a.m. Monday.

Once inside, the video shows them wandering around some of the suites.

Police say Farmer then decided to discharge a fire extinguisher inside a suite and hallway

According to the criminal complain, they also stole a bottle of liquor and wine.

Police tell WSAZ.com the two young men decided to turn themselves in after seeing the surveillance video on TV.

Police also say they received about 20 calls telling them who the suspects were.

Farmer and Denney were turned over to their parents after be arraigned on the charges Friday morning.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police at Marshall University need your help to identify two men who broke into the Joan C. Edwards football stadium during the weekend.

Campus police recently released surveillance video.

Investigators say two men broke into the stadium early Sunday morning, setting off several fire extinguishers inside the building before getting away with alcohol.

The men were seen getting away in a black Ford truck.

If you recognize the men, you are asked to call police.
