Midnight Power Outage Update

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- While power has been restored to most AEP customers in Kentucky and Ohio, more than 4,000 people remained without electricity in Cabell and Wayne counties of West Virginia.

Elsewhere in our part of West Virginia, power had been restored.

The same was true in our part of Kentucky and Ohio, with the exception of Boyd County, Ky. More than 100 people remained without power there.

Below are the latest outage numbers, as of midnight Friday., according to AEP's website:

West Virginia:
Cabell: 1,668
Wayne: 2,345

Kentucky:
Boyd: 139
