MILTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A Milton man is facing charges after selling some of his prescription in a drug store parking lot.
According to the criminal complaint, Jacob Hess, 35, of Milton, is being charged with possession of a controlled substance with sale delivery.
On Wednesday, the Huntington Violent Crimes and Drug Task Force receivied a tip that Hess was selling his prescription of Suboxone on the Milton Rite Aid parking lot.
According to the complaint, Hess would meet another male in the parking lot before going through the drive-thru to pick up his prescription. The two men would then pick up the Suboxone, and Hess would sell the man some of the prescription.
Investigators watched the deal take place on Wednesday and then stopped both of the men afterwards.
According to the complaint, the second male told investigators that Hess has sold him five strips of the prescription that was just picked up from the drug store.
Hess is facing one to 15 years in jail and/or a $25,000 fine.
