Milton Police Crack Down on Trespassing at Historic Building

MILTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police are cracking down on trespassing at the Morris Memorial building in Milton.

Officers have installed security cameras inside the building to monitor people coming in and out of the building. They have been able to arrest a few people since they were installed.

The building has been around for decades. It was originally a polio hospital, then was later turned into a nursing home and now sits vacant.

Police say the rundown building serves as a perfect place for teenagers to go ghost hunting, but it often turns into more serious crimes.
