Mobile Home Set on Fire; Reward Offered

POCA, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An investigation is underway after someone set a mobile home on fire in Putnam County.

It happened about 1 a.m. Tuesday morning in the Valley Addition mobile home park near Poca.

Investigators say the fire damaged the home's underpinning and front porch.

A neighbor saw the fire and put it out with a water hose before it spread.

Investigators say the fire was intentionally set. Samples of the damage have been sent to the lab to see what was used to start the fire.

So far no arrests have been made.

The West Virginia State Fire Marshal's Office is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.

West Virginia State Police is also investigating.
