CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man already in jail is now facing more charges after police say he assaulted two officers.
It happened Saturday at the South Central Regional Jail.
Shelton David Cash, 44, is now facing several assault charges including assault on governmental representatives.
According to the criminal complaint, Cash hit an officer in the face -- causing his nose to bleed. He's also accused of hitting another officer during the fight and then resisting being restrained by other officers.
Cash now has two bonds set in Kanawha County at $30,000 and $10,000 as well as a $100,000 bond set in Ohio County.
It's unclear at this time what other charges Cash was already facing.
