MOREHEAD, Ky. (WSAZ) – A man from Morehead has been indicted on multiple counts of possessing child porn.
On Friday, a Rowan County grand jury indicted Travis Lee, 32, on 12 charges of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.
On Sept. 6, investigators conducted a search of Lee's home and found more than 2,800 images showing sexual abuse of children on his computer, according to a news release from Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway.
If convicted, Lee could serve one to five years in prison on each count.
Since its creation in June of 2008, Attorney General Conway’s Cybercrimes Unit has launched 375 child pornography investigations and seized more than 422,600 child pornographic images and videos from the Internet.
