Natural Gas Outage Reported in Boone County

BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Some people in Boone County are waking up to no heat.

Dominion Hope is reporting a natural gas outage in the Fosterville area of Boone County.

A spokesperson tells WSAZ.com one of its suppliers has reported an interruption of service in that area of Boone County. The outage is affecting about 50 customers.

Right now, crews are working to fix the problem, but until then, the company has worked with the county to open a warming center for any customers who need it. The warming center is at the Racine Volunteer Fire Department.
