FAIRMONT, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The dedication of a new $25 million Armed Forces Reserve Center will be dedicated later this week.
The West Virginia National Guard, along with the United States Army will officially dedicate the new Fairmont Center on October 18 at 10 a.m.
The facility will be dedicated to, and named in honor of Medal of Honor recipient and WWII veteran, Hershel "Woody" Williams.
Williams, a Marine Corps vet, is being recognized for his bravery in service and his continued dedication to the men and women who serve our country.
Williams is from Barboursville, W.Va..
