New Discount Retail Store to Open at Nitro Marketplace
NITRO, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A new discount retail store is set to open at the Nitro Marketplace by the end of the year.
Burkes Outlet is under construction at the former Goody's location.
Andy Boyd with THF Realty tells WSAZ.com the 27,000 square foot store is currently under construction.
Burkes Outlet offers name brand products at up to 70% off department store prices, according to the company's website. The store also carries shoes, home furnishings, gifts, and toys.
The Nitro store will be the company's fourth store to open in West Virginia. Currently, Burkes Outlet operates stores in Logan, Princeton and Summersville. Nationwide, the company operates over 160 retail stores in 11 states.
Burkes Outlet is based out of Florida.
The Nitro store will create at least 30-35 jobs. The store is expected to open in October.
