CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Lines formed early in Charleston for the new iPhone 5.
The new phone went on sale at 8 a.m. at AT&T stores.
By 7 a.m., the line was around the building at the store in Kanawha City. The story was the same at the Southridge store, the AT&T store in Teays Valley and Huntington.
The new iPhone is thinner, lighter and has a bigger screen.
Shoppers say waiting in the long line was worth it to get their hands on the new technology.
Last week, Apple took two million pre-orders for the phone in just 24-hours. Some think the company could sell more than 10-million phones by Monday.
