LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A teenager from Johnson County was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Lawrence County, Ky. Thursday night.
Two other people were hurt in that crash that happened at the intersection of Highway 1690 and Highway 645 about 6:10 p.m.
The Lawrence County, Ky. Sheriff's Office says Hannah Tackett, 15, was killed. Tackett was passenger in a car driven by Kaitlyn Jude, 20, of Inez.
Sheriff investigators say Jude ran the stop sign at the intersection, and collided with the vehicle driven by Dorothy Edwards, 42, of Blaine Ky.
Both Jude and Tackett were not wearing seat belts; both were ejected in the crash.
Jude and Edwards were flown to Cabell Huntington Hospital. There is no word on their conditions at this time.
It happened about 6:10 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 1690 and Highway 645.
The Lawrence County, Ky. Sheriff's Office says the woman killed was in a vehicle with another woman. The woman died at the scene.
A woman in the vehicle with the deceased woman, and the driver of the other vehicle were both flown to Cabell Huntington Hospital
The Sherriff’s Office has not released the name of any of the people. There is no word on how the crash happened.
