UPDATE: Sheriff's Dept. Releases Name in Fatal Crash in Greenup County

UPDATE 6/4/12 @ 11:20 a.m.
WURLTLAND, Ky. (WSAZ) -- The Greenup County Sheriff's Department has released the name of a man who died over the weekend after being ejected from his vehicle.

Deputies say James "Mark" Williams from Flatwoods died Saturday after a crash on U.S. 23 in Wurtland.

The crash happened about 7 p.m.

Deputies tell WSAZ.com that Williams' vehicle was the only one involved and that he was ejected.

The crash is still under investigation.

Williams was 52-years-old.

WURTLAND, Ky (WSAZ) -- One person is dead after a crash in Greenup County, Kentucky. Sheriff Keith Cooper says.

The crash happened Saturday just after 7 p.m. on US 23 in Wurtland.

Deputies say the victim died after being ejected from their vehicle.

The name of the victim is being withheld while deputies contact family members.

The accident remains under investigation.
