UPDATE 4/16/14 @ 8:35 p.m.
CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A woman involved Wednesday evening in a rollover crash in the 5100 block of U.S. 60 was taken to the hospital, but she appeared to have escaped serious injuries, authorities at the scene said.
The woman was driving west on U.S. 60 when she left the roadway and hit two concrete barriers. The car ended up hitting a traffic light pole and rolled over.
The accident happened near the 29th Street interchange of Interstate 64.
The woman was ejected from the car, but she was conscious and alert, witnesses said. She was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
The crash was reported about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Barboursville Police, West Virginia State Police and the Cabell County Sheriff's Department were among authorities at the scene, as well as Barboursville volunteer firefighters.
The accident was reported about 7:30 p.m. It wasn't immediately known how many cars were involved. The extent of the person's injuries also wasn't immediately available.
