UPDATE: Two Hurt in Kanawha County Rollover Crash

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two people were taken to the hospital Monday night after a car hit a patch of black ice on Route 61 near Pratt, emergency crews at the scene said.

They said the driver ended up losing control and slammed into a hillside.

The driver and another person in the car had to be cut out and rushed to the hospital. Both are expected to be OK.

The crash happened just before 9 p.m. near the intersection of Beechwood Run.

By about 10:30 p.m. Monday, Route 61 had reopened in that area.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Emergency crews are on the scene of a rollover crash in eastern Kanawha County.

It happened just before 9 p.m. Monday on Route 61 near the intersection of Beechwood Run near Pratt.

Dispatchers say at least one person is trapped in the car.

Route 61 is closed in the area.

We have a crew headed to the scene.
