Pike County Man Charged in Virginia Murder

PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A grand jury in Buchanan County, Va., has indicted a Pike County, Ky., man for murder.

Kentucky State Police arrested Terry Dean Ramey, 35, of Mouthcard, Friday morning. Ramey is being held in the Pike County Detention Center on a fugitive from justice warrant while awaiting his extradition hearing.

The indictment charges Ramey with the murder of Freddie Jacob Bailey. Investigators say Bailey was killed on December 12, 2012 at his home in the Jacks Creek Section of Buchanan County. Media reports say Bailey died of a gunshot wound.

Ramey is also charged with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
