ATHENS COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A man trusted to uphold the law is now accused of breaking it.
Glouster Police Chief Luke Mace was arrested Friday night and charged with two felony counts of Obstruction of Justice.
No further details have been released about those charges.
A search warrant was executed at the Glouster Police Department Friday with the cooperation of the Glouster Mayor's Office.
Mace's arrest was a joint operation by the Athens County Sheriff's Office, the Athens Police Department, the Ohio University Police Department and the Athens County Prosecutor's Office, with investigation assistance by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
