Police: Girlfriend Stabs Boyfriend in Self-Defense

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man was taken to the hospital after police say his girlfriend stabbed him in self defense.
Police say the couple got into a physical fight at a home on the 1400 block of Red Oak St. just after 7 a.m. Sunday.
The woman took out a knife and stabbed the man to protect herself, according to police.
He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Police say the woman will not be charged.
