CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Charges against a man accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl have been lowered, Kanawha County Prosecutor Mark Plants said.
Bradley Price is now charged with third-degree sexual assault after the victim changed her story.
Price originally had been charged with two counts of first-degree sexual assault and abduction. Plants said surveillance video shows no evidence of an abduction. The incident was reported April 10.

Charleston Police tell WSAZ.com that Bradley Price turned himself in Wednesday afternoon. Price is accused of kidnapping a 13-year-old girl April 10.
According to the criminal complaint, it happened near a bus stop at Central Avenue and Russell Street.
Price allegedly drove beside the victim, pulled her by the arm and demanded she get in the car. He then drove around for hours before taking her to the Knights Inn in Kanawha City, where the victim says she was raped.
Parents who live near where the alleged abduction happened said Wednesday they were relieved at the news of Price’s arrest.
“It's reassuring because that means it's not going to happen to someone else and he can't repeat that crime so that's the good thing,” Gary Hampton said.
Price was charged with two counts of sexual assault in the first degree and one count of abduction.
He is being held at the South Central Regional Jail without bond.

Price is accused of abducting a 13-year-old girl near the intersection of Central Avenue and Russell Street on Charleston’s West Side. Investigators say Price later took the girl to the Knights Inn motel in Kanawha City where he allegedly raped her.
Price is expected to be arraigned Wednesday evening.
The suspect, Bradley Price of Elkview, allegedly drove beside the girl before allegedly forcing her into his car and then abducting her.
“I have three girls of my own and grandchildren, I just can't imagine,” neighbor Debra Bainbridge said.
According to the criminal complaint, after Price grabbed the girl and told her "if you don't get in the car I will hurt you" he drove around for more than five hours with the victim.
Authorities tell WSAZ.com, the suspect delivers pizzas at a restaurant near the site of the alleged abduction. Price told the victim she would have to wait with him until his shift was over.
Later Price took the victim to the Knights Inn in Kanawha City, where he allegedly raped her.
Thursday morning, the teen was able to free herself by running to the front desk of the Knights Inn and calling her dad.
Neighbors say Wednesday's incident has completely changed their daily routines.
“I can't let my kids come outside … I'm worried about if somebody going to snatch my daughter if I leave her out on the front porch,” neighbor Omar Reyes said.
“My husband is going to be coming out here with me,” said Bainbridge, who gets to and from work using the bus stop near where the incident was reported.
Price hasn’t been seen since the alleged crime, and police say he is wanted in connection with it.
When Price is found, he will be charged with abduction and two counts of first-degree sexual assault.
