Police Arrest Eight in Sissonville Meth Bust; Child Inside Home

SISSONVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Eight people were arrested Saturday after police found them making meth.

West Virginia State Police tell WSAZ.com it happened around 7 p.m. in the 1600 block of North Grapevine Road.

State Police obtained a search warrant and found a majority of materials to make meth inside a shed behind the home.

Police say when they got to the home two people ran away. They were later caught and arrested.

A child was inside the home at the time of the bust. State police released the child to grandparents, with instructions to get immediate medical care to make sure the child was alright.
