PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (WSAZ) – Portsmouth Police and officers with the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force busted a meth lab at a residence in the 2100 block of Grant Street in Portsmouth, Ohio.
Portsmouth Police Chief Robert Ware and Scioto County Sheriff Marty Donini said a Portsmouth officer went to the house after getting a complaint of people cooking meth inside the residence.
The officer arrested 35-year-old Gregory Baker Jr. after finding meth making material in a bedroom of the residence.
Drug Task Force officers were called to house where they say an active one pot meth lab was found.
Baker was charged with manufacturing meth within 100 of a juvenile, and illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the Manufacture of Meth.
Baker also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest on indictment from Scioto County Common Pleas Court. In January, Portsmouth Police arrested Baker for similar meth related offenses.
