RACELAND, Ky. (WSAZ) -- The Raceland High School football team gave thanks for a great season and prepped for semifinals.

The football team gathered together Thursday morning for a Thanksgiving breakfast.

Parents and community members served up biscuits and gravy along with eggs and sausage to the hungry players.

Eva Joseph, who is a parent of one of the players, teared up during the meal saying she is proud of her son as her time as a football mom comes to an end.

The team plays Williamsburg in the state semifinals Friday night.

The team's record this season is 11-2.
