UPDATE: Second Man Arrested in Huntington Pharmacy Robbery

UPDATE 2/20/13 @ 9:55 p.m.
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A second man has been arrested in connection with the robbery at the CVS Pharmacy in Huntington last week,

Huntington Police charged John Thomas Beaver, 30, of Ona, W.Va. with 1st degree robbery. Beaver was arrested Wednesday.

One day after the February13, robbery, police arrested 30-year-old Jeremy Johnson for his role in the robbery. He was also charged with 1st degree robbery.

According to the criminal complaint, after the two men entered the store, Johnson handed a note to the clerk, directing her to hand over money from the register, and that he was armed with a gun.

The note also stated that if she would cooperate no one would be hurt. During this time, police say Beaver served as a lookout.

The complaint says the clerk then gave Johnson an undetermined amount of money and the men fled the store

Beaver was taken to the Western Regional Jail; his bond was set at $100,000 cash only.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The man that police say robbed a CVS Pharmacy in Huntington Wednesday afternoon is now in jail.

Jeremy Johnson, 30, was arrested Thursday night at a home on North Staunton Street.

The robbery happened at the CVS at the corner of 8th Avenue and 20th Street.

According to the criminal complaint, Johnson walked into the store handed a note to the clerk directing her to hand over money from the register, and that he was armed with a gun.

The note also stated that if she would cooperate no one would be hurt.

The complaint says the clerk then gave Johnson an undetermined amount of money and he fled the store with a second man.

Police say Johnson was identified from store surveillance video.

Johnson was charged with first-degree robbery.

Police say they expect to identify the second suspect soon.

UPDATE 2/14/13 @ Midnight
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An arrest warrant has been issued for a man that police say robbed the CVS Pharmacy at 20th Street and 8th Avenue.

Huntington Police say Jeremy Johnson, 30, is wanted on a first-degree robbery charge.

Police say Johnson has a lengthy criminal history and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Johnson is 6 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs about 240 pounds and has multiple tattoos.

The robbery was reported just after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Lt. John Williams tells WSAZ.com Johnson walked into the store and handed the cashier a note demanding money and stating he had a gun.

The cashier handed Johnson an unknown amount of money from a cash drawer. Johnson then left the store on foot, crossing 8th Avenue toward the railroad tracks.

A SWAT team was called out Wednesday night to search Johnson's home in the 2100-block of 8th Avenue. They say Johnson was not there. Officers did search the home for evidence.

Polcie have not released any information on the second suspect in the robbery.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police are looking for two men who robbed the CVS Pharmacy on 20th Street in Huntington Wednesday morning.

Dispatchers say they got a call about a robbery just after 11:30 a.m.

Lt. John Williams tells WSAZ.com the men walked into the store and handed the cashier a note demanding money and stating they had a gun.

The cashier handed them an unknown amount of money from a cash drawer. The men then left the store on foot, crossing 8th Avenue towards the railroad tracks.

Williams says the men walked around the store briefly before presenting the note. He says no weapon was ever shown, and the suspects said very little while in the store.

One of the men was wearing a tan jacket and jeans, the other a Marshall jacket and jeans. Both suspects were wearing dark colored hoodies pulled down over their faces.

Police are interviewing store employees and checking surveillance tapes from the store and surrounding businesses.

The note was collected into evidence.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police are investigating a reported armed robbery at a Huntington pharmacy.

Dispatchers say they got a call about a robbery at the CVS Pharmacy at 20th Street and 8th Avenue just after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police do have a witness they are interviewing at this time. It's not known what was taken, or if the person was armed.
