UPDATE: Robbery Reported in Cross Lanes

UPDATE 1/13/14 @ 11:15 a.m.
CROSS LANES, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office is investigating a robbery at the Cold Spot convenience store in Cross Lanes.

It was held up about 7 a.m. Monday.

Deputies say a man said he had a gun and demanded cash.

He got the money and ran from the store.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 304-357-0556.

CROSS LANES, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a robbery at Cold Spot in Cross Lanes.

The robbery was reported about 7 a.m. Monday.

911 dispatchers tell WSAZ.com someone ran into Cold Spot's convenience store stole money and then took off. The clerk was the only one was in the store at the time. The clerk told deputies the man appeared to have a gun under his jacket.

Deputies are still on the scene investigating the alleged crime.
