CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The name has been released of the man that died in an accident on Route 2 Tuesday.
Sgt. Todd Wentz with the Cabell County Sheriff's Department WSAZ.com that Justin Ray, 25, of Kenova, died in the two-car accident.
The accident happened about 11:15 a.m. Tuesday in the 7000-block of Ohio River Road, also known as Route 2, in the Lesage area.
Wentz tells WSAZ.com that Ray was driving a van when he rear-ended a truck that was stopped on Route 2.
Investigators are not releasing the name of Ray's passenger. That person received non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the truck was not taken to the hospital from the scene, but did complain of some pain, Sgt. Wentz tells WSAZ.com.
They are still investigating the cause of the accident.
Route 2 was shut down for a couple of hours Tuesday as crews cleared the scene.

Wentz says the driver of the van died from their injuries at a local hospital. The passenger was also taken to a local hospital. No word at this time on their condition.
Their names are expected to be released Wednesday afternoon.
