CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Santa Claus arrives Thursday in Charleston.
Santa's elves will be at the Charleston Town Center Mall at 5:45 p.m. to hand out 200 yellow hard hats to children at Center Court. That's where they'll also help Graycor's renovation foreman, Zach Frick, start the new fountain at Center Court, according to a news release.
Then, the group will parade to Macy's Court where Bob the Builder will perform a 20-minute show before Santa Claus arrives on stage.
The children will be asked to sing along with Santa in the Frosty Forest for Charleston's first indoor snowfall of the season.
Santa will remain at the Frosty Forest through the holiday season.
