GALLIA COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A couple is behind bars after several hake-n-bake meth labs were found in their home.
Deputies with the Gallia County Sheriff's Office went to a home in the 1900 block of George's Creek around 3 a.m. Thursday after receiving a tip about someone at the home possibly making meth.
Deputies say they saw two bottles in a trash bag on the porch of the home, which they believed contained meth.
Aaron Fitzpatrick,19, of Gallipolis and Mary Marcum,33, of Gallipolis were in the home, along with two children, ages 11 and 9.
Deputies asked the couple about the meth and they said two people had brought the trash bags over a few days earlier.
Deputies searched the home and found that the same trash bags were being used inside the home, and found ingredients to make meth, along with receipts from buying those ingredients.
They also found out that the two people that Fitzpatrick and Marcum said brought the drugs to the house had been in jail at the time they say they were there.
Fitzpatrick and Marcum were arrested and charged with illegal manufacture of drugs according to the incident report.
The children's grandmother took them out of the home.
