LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Logan County Sheriff Sonya Porter says to be cautious of people in plain clothes who are pretending to be with the sheriff’s office.
Porter says they are trying to either gain access to homes or get money, and were last seen in the Mudfork area.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Department nor the Logan County Deputy Sheriff’s Association is soliciting for any programs at this time in Logan County.
If you are approached by one of these people, call 911. Porter says do not give them money or allow them into your home.
