NICHOLAS COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An arrest has been made in a shooting that happened last week in Nicholas County.
The Nicholas County Sheriff's Office arrested John David McClung, 46, of Canvas, W.Va., on a charge of malicious wounding Monday afternoon.
Deputies say McClung got into a fight with Justin Moore, 27, of Summersville, at McClung's home on Groves Ford Road, when McClung allegedly pulled out two pistols and fired two shots at Moore.
The shots hit Moore in the leg and groin. No word on his condition.
McClung was arraigned Monday afternoon and is being in lieu of $30,000 bail in the Central Regional Jail.
It happened about 4 p.m. on February 3 in Canvas.
Deputies say Justin Moore, 27, of Summersville, was shot twice by John David McClung, 46, of Canvas, at McClung's home, according to a release from the Nicholas County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies say the pair got into an argument, when McClung pulled out two pistols and shot Moore in the leg and groin area. McClung was taken to the hospital and his condition is unknown.
A warrant is issued for McClung.
The shooting remains under investigation.
