Shoplifting Call Ends With Woman Busted for Meth

QUINCY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – What started as a call for shoplifting ended with a woman busted for meth.

State Police in South Charleston tell Melody Legg, 37, was arrested about 3 p.m. Friday on the parking lot of the Rite Aid pharmacy in Quincy.

When they searched Legg’s truck, troopers say they found a backpack with a mobile meth lab inside.

Legg is charged with attempting to operate a clandestine laboratory and obtaining pseudoephedrine with intent to manufacture meth.

She is in the South Central Regional Jail on a $25,000 bond.
