UPDATE: Silver Alert Canceled for Elderly Man in Clay County, W.Va.

CLAY COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The Silver Alert for Kenneth Butcher, 88, has been cancelled.

West Virginia State Police say Butcher was located in Nicholas County where he was taken to a the hospital for evaluation.

Troopers say he appears to be in good condition.

CLAY COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- West Virginia State Police are searching for an elderly man from Clay County.

Troopers have issued a silver alert for Kenneth G. Butcher, 88, who was last seen leaving his home on Ivydale Road, Friday.

Butcher is 5'7", 177 lbs and has hazel eyes.

He should be driving a 2013 Mazda61 Sedan with a license plate number 2ML-431.
