UPDATE: Missing Braxton County Man Found

UPDATE 12/17/13 @ 4:30 p.m.
BRAXTON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A Silver Alert has been cancelled after a missing elderly man was found in Braxton County, West Virginia.

Kenneth Ray Greenlief was found alive just before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on Route 4 between Sutton and Flatwoods, W.Va.

The 66-year-old had been missing since about 6 p.m. Monday.

No other information is being released at this time.

BRAXTON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- West Virginia State Police and family members continue to search for a missing elderly man with health and mental disabilities.

WVSP issued a silver alert for Kenneth Ray Greenlief, 66. He was reported missing Monday evening.

At the time, he was wearing camo, a grey hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans when he was last seen.

Greenlief's son tells WSAZ.com that his father is diabetic.

WVSP says Greenlief is also schizophrenic and suffers from Alzheimer's Disease.

Greenlief's son tells WSAZ.com that he found his father Tuesday morning near Braxton High School, but when he tried to get him to go with him, the elderly man took off.

WVSP tell WSAZ.com Greenlief has been spotted a few times, but by they time they were able to get to the scenes, he was gone. They say they have several crews in the area looking for him.

BRAXTON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- West Virginia State Police have issued a silver alert for a man from Braxton County.

Troopers tell WSAZ.com, Kenneth Ray Greenlief, 66, was last seen in Flatwoods, W.Va. at 6:00 p.m. Monday.

At the time, Greenlief was wearing camo, a grey hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Troopers say he suffers from Schizophrenia and Alzheimer's Disease.

Greenlief has a history of hitchhiking and may be headed toward Charleston.
