UPDATE: State Route 986 in Carter County Has Reopened

CARTER COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A section of State Route 986 that was closed for about 12 hours following a propane truck rollover wreck has reopened.

The crash happened about 2:45 p.m. Monday near Grayson.

No injuries were reported. The cause of that wreck remains under investigation.

CARTER COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Emergency crews remain on the scene of a propane truck rollover in Carter County.

The crash happened about 2:45 p.m. Monday in the 13,000 block of State Route 986, which is a few miles outside of Grayson.

As of 11 p.m. Monday, the roadway remained closed in that area. It is expected to stay closed for a lengthy time, a Carter County 911 dispatcher said.

Crews on the scene say the tanker rolled over and propane leaked from the tank.

No injuries have been reported at this time.

State Route 986 remained closed in that area as crews work to upright the truck and tow it away.
