HAROLD, Ky. (WSAZ) – Troopers say a man carrying what looked like a big stick robbed a convenience store in Floyd County Wednesday night, and the whole thing was caught on camera.

The robbery happened at Newman's Shop A Lot in Harold about 8:30 p.m.

People at the store told investigators that it looked like the man was carrying a large piece of wood.

They say after the suspect entered the store, he shoved the piece of wood into the clerk's back and pushed her behind the counter.

After grabbing money from both registers, troopers say he ran out the door.

The man was wearing blue jeans, gloves and a mask.

No one in the store was injured.

Kentucky State Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
