Suspect Sentenced to Prison in Brother's Murder

PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man from Putnam County is headed to prison after he admitted to killing his brother.

Jonathan Facemyre was sentenced to 15 years on Thursday for the death of his brother, Michael Faecmyre. Earlier this year, Jonathan pleaded guilty to second degree murder.

Investigators say Jonathan stabbed his brother several times in the chest.

The crime happened at a house in Scott Depot in August 2013.

Michael was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
