NEW BOSTON, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A Portsmouth man is facing charges for allegedly going on a shopping spree with a stolen credit card.
According to a release from the New Boston Police Department, Wayne Claytor, 52, of Portsmouth, Ohio, is being charged with receiving stolen property and telecommunication fraud.
Claytor, according to the release, used the stolen card at the K-Mart in New Boston and Kroger, Family Dollar Store and Speedway in the City of Portsmouth. He also allegedly used the card at the Speedway in South Shore, Ky.
The card was used for about $730.
The New Boston Police Department received a tip as to the location where Calytor was living. Thursday, officers arrested Claytor at his home in Portsmouth.
According to the release, Claytor was taken to the New Boston Police Department, where he later admitted to using the stolen card.
Claytor was being held in the Scioto County Jail, but has since posted bond and has been released.
More charges are expected to be filed.

New Boston Police say the suspect used the stolen card at K-Mart on November 13, and also at several stores in Portsmouth and South Shore, Ky.
Police say he spent about $730 on the card.
He was caught on camera using the card at the Portsmouth Kroger.
