Suspicious Brush Fire Destroys Home

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Fire investigators are calling a late night house fire suspicious.

The flames broke out just about 10:30 p.m. in the 4000 block of Big Sandy Road near Pinch.

Firefighters tell the flames began as a brush fire but then set the home on fire and took over.

No one had been living in the house for awhile, according to officials on the scene. No one was hurt.

The home was destroyed.
