UPDATE: All Lanes of I-64 Reopen Following Four-Car Crash

UPDATE 3/3/13 @ 5:14 p.m.
CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- All lanes of I-64 are back open following a four-car crash near the 18 mile marker in Barboursville Sunday afternoon.

One lane of traffic in each direction was closed about 3:30 p.m. following two separate crashes.

Barboursville Police tell WSAZ.com, the incident began with a two-car crash in the westbound lanes.

Police say they think a car was going too fast and crashed into the car in front of it. That crash caused traffic to slow down.

Another crash then occurred in the eastbound lanes. There were injuries, but the seriousness of the injuries are unknown.

Barboursville police tell WSAZ.com say a two-car crash happened earlier in the westbound lane. That crash caused traffic to slow down.

Police say there were injuries, but it's unknown how serious the injuries are.

CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Dispatchers tell WSAZ.com that a portion of I-64 by mile-marker 18 near Barboursville is down to one lane in each direction following a four-car crash.

Dispatchers say there were two cars in the eastbound and two cars in the westbound.

No word on injuries or when the lanes will re-open.
