Task Force Seizes More than $13,000 of Oxycodone, Woman Charged

IRONTON, Ohio (WSAZ) -- The Lawrence Drug & Major Crimes Task Force seized more than $13,000 worth of oxycodone from an Ironton home.

According to a release from the Lawrence County Prosecuting Attorney, Rebecca Allen, 43, of Ironton, is being charged with aggravated possession of drugs and aggravated trafficking in drugs.

The Lawrence Drug & Major Crimes Task Force raided Allen's home on Tuesday night, according to the release. The home is located at 915 1/2 Park Avenue in Ironton, Ohio.

During the raid, the task force seized $1,958 in cash and 529 oxycodone pills worth $13,830. According to the release, the task force believes that the pills came from Detroit.

Allen was indicted on drug charges back in 2010. She pleaded guilty to trafficking in crack cocaine.

Allen is scheduled to be back in court Thursday.
