GALLIA COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A teenager has been arrested after bringing a pellet gun to school.
Gallia County Local Schools Superintendent Charla Evans tells WSAZ.com that the student brought the gun to River Valley High School Wednesday morning.
The school was put on lockdown for about 45 minutes and the Gallia County Sheriff's Office was called to the school.
The student was arrested and charged with illegal conveyance.
Evans tells WSAZ.com that the school district is required to hold an expulsion hearing for the student.
She also says in situations like this, you have to treat every incident as it is the real thing.
There was no injuries in the incident.
